“Bank teller Mennie Person arrives home in July 1975 to discover Elvis has had a brand new Cadillac Eldorado delivered to her house. A the story goes, she was wandering past a local Cadillac dealership when she saw the worlds biggest celebrity arriving to do a spot of shopping. When she admired his own Cadillac, the one he arrived in, he decided to repay the compliment the only way he knew how. Mennie was understandably overjoyed and blown away by the gesture.”
